FSG have got to have someone ready and waiting but I'm really concerned they'll go down the route of another young up and coming manager rather than someone with experience and the pulling power of Klopp or Ancelotti.

He almost certainly helped but even without Suarez the team played with more freedom and looked far better than the team Rodgers has created over time.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss is now favourite to replace Rodgers after the Northern Irish boss was sacked follwing the side’s 1-1 draw with Everton.
