Evening all.

Me and a few friends got thinking about the idea of making moonshine (all in the interests of science). I have had a look round the internet and cant seem to find any deffinitive recipes etc and im a bit confused as to the methods or equipment which need to be used. My dad has a fair amount of wine making 'stuff' which i presume is similar?

I would be greatful for any advice or tips in making it! If any of you have previous experience of making this yourself, even better!

Thanks again.

Rob :)

Brewing your own beer or cider = no explosions, might not taste so good but not dangerous either

Distillating = dangerous

But it is entirely legal to make it?! Im sure this has been brought up before (but i cannot find it) on these forums without such replies?

Thanks

not sure how legal it is to make it but surely the Revenue and Customs people might show an interest

If you sell it yes, there are no legal issues as far as my research has shown providing it is for personal consumption, which ofcourse it will be!

Im guessing i'm not going to get an answer to my original question?!

Brewing is legal. Selling and distillation is illegal.

Did you honestly think the government would not try to steal your hard earned produce and money at every chance they got?
