For us kids of the 60's and 70's this man was one of the most well known kids TV stars. Good to see Derek Griffiths is still going strong mind!

Narrated my childhood via Play School, Camberwick Green and Trumpton. Such a sad loss. What makes it poignant for me is that my old man has just recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's, he's turned so frail over a couple of months it's unreal. He can't even walk anymore.

In the afternoon when primary school finished, Brian Cant was king. I am assured he affected the next generation too with Dappledown Farm, which I missed out on.

Bric-a-Brac was a great show. I was probably a bit too old to be watching Dappledown Farm, but that was a very entertaining show with some good humour too. RIP.

RIP. Fond memories as a child watching Play School and Playaway. Floella Benjamin seems to have been time in a time warp as she looks the same now as she did 40 years ago.
