Brian Cox - Solar System - BBC2

Cox is back with another series on BBC2 with another look at the Solar System. I watched the first episode and was a little underwhelmed to be honest. Its just seems like the BBC is rehashing the same old to fill their Science quota. I remember Cox's earlier programmes being really good. I have often rewatched his 2 "Wonders" series and the episode on Entropy and the heat death of the universe is bloody fantastically mind-blowing / grim.

Read the title thread and imagined it was the other Brian Cox, and I was thinking, what's he doing on a Science programme?

And I've seen all the other BC's BBC Science programmes at that...

:D

Watching this (not the Rogan thing) at the moment and it's really good. I confess to finding Cox a little too laconic at times but the way they have constructed this is wonderful. Meshing phenomena from earth with that observed and measured in other moons or planets has been handled very well. I also like the use of the practical experiments to illustrate what's happening on a planetary scale. The milk and coffee thing was really well done!

BBC content of a high quality.
