If your referring to the lefty that’s a given .
Inner London boroughs have always been a Labour stronghold and after Boris it was a given Khan was always going to get in .
If you look at he local elections of 2018 apart from 10 out of 32 boroughs it’s a sea of red . Normally a key factor in mayoral elections.
If the mayoral elections go ahead in May I don’t think it will be the same reflection given how badly he’s has dealt with knife crime and the congestion/ULEZ charge - my reason being is that the majority of BAME voters live in these inner boroughs and it effected them massively.
But yes Brain Rose is an idiot.
As a tongue in cheek suggestion - I’ll put my name forward as the -“ "Get rid of the Lycra idiots Use your car for free party ".

Its not our fault that your side keeps putting forward idiots and asshats. Fancy the Tories putting forward a black candidate in the hope that loads of racist would vote for him or that the BAME community would forget all the racist rhetoric coming from the Tories and its supporters for the last how ever many years. LOL

I haven’t got a socialist bone in my body, but I firmly believe in helping those at the bottom of society who are there through no fault of their own, if kids are going hungry then it’s the prerogative of all of us to help to feed them.
If adults are willing to work, and are actively seeking employment, but by a combination of circumstances there aren’t enough jobs available, then they should get help from the public purse.
However, there are those that are living on Benefit Street with half a dozen kids from various fathers, drawing a gyro, but working behind the bar off the books, and happy to live that way, with their progeny seeing it, and getting pregnant in order to get a Council flat/house so that they can follow in mum’s footsteps, that I don’t agree with.
For that reason, I voted Zac Goldsmith in the 2016 mayoral election, Khan made much of his socialist roots, and that worried me, Tory doesn’t always equal total good, but Labour always seemed happy to fritter my Community Charge pounds away on any skiver with his/her hand out.
Aside from unemployment benefit for 3 months when I was 18, I’ve never taken a red cent from the Exchequer, if there was a pound note to be earned, I’d go out and earn it, digging ditches, driving trucks, anything to put food on the table, or buy the kids some shoes, so I voted Goldsmith, as I felt more in tune with him than socialist Khan.

My old man drove a tipper truck in the years before WW2, then had a short but less than illustrious career in the 79th Armoured Division, abruptly curtailed by a Luftwaffe pilot near Caen in 1944.
He achieved his ambition of becoming an ex-serviceman in 1945 and drove trucks for a living all his life after that.
He’d go anywhere, anytime, to earn a few bob, and my mother never had to worry about paying the rent.
I took my cue from him and his work ethic, neither of us would trust Labour, they seemed only too keen to give money to the work shy.

Well, at least you are consistent; the Old Etonian allegedly racist, allegedly tax-dodging Goldsmith who is the son of the infamous Eurosceptic Goldenballs certainly doesn't appear to believe in Socialism

Stranger things have happened, Bob Kiley of Minneapolis, was Transport Commissioner for London between 2001-2006, he was formerly in charge of both Boston and New York’s Transportation Authority.
I didn’t know that Rose was ahead of Khan in the betting, but being aware of the regular flak that Khan gets, I’m not surprised.
I don’t know enough about Bailey to form an opinion of why Rose may be ahead of him, I’ll check that out.
I don’t know which bookie’s odds you’re going on, but I’ve checked out 3 of the big name bookmakers, and Khan is odds on favourite with all of them, 1/10, 1/12, and 1/12.
As you’re no doubt aware, that means that you have to lay £10 to win £1, or £12 to win £1, can’t get much more shorter odds than that!
I chose my words incorrectly. I was meaning Rose is the number 1 contender against Khan above the Conservative Shaun Bailey.
I was going to put a bet on Bailey to win. But I was reading that the Conservative HQ are pulling out resources from his campaign.
I'm not a fan of Khan and hope he goes. I'm just unsure if Rose can do it. I'll have to wait closer to the time before making a betting judgement.
Rose is only doing it for a quick buck, no chance he'll make it as mayor.
I also suspect he's manipulating the odds on Betfair. It's what he does.
