Don't forget guys, this is 8Pack's motherboard of choice for his single card records. It really IS that good.

It's also the board that I use to select the 8Pack and Infinity CPUs, but that's not quite as impressive

An i5 4690K would be fine.

They are different boards, the Sniper is made for gamers, it's a pretty standard board with a couple of gaming features bolted on. The SOC Force is all about performance, from the tuned BIOS and higher number of PWMs to the overclocking features and onboard controls.
