Depends on the details/future constraints surely - is this just one of many trade opportunities the UK is looking to join/participate in?

This could be akin to breaking your own bones, but now regenerating half of them after a few years? Still worse off, but positive direction.

I'm not so sure. It lacks nearly all the benefits of being part of the EU, whilst also making a return to the EU harder.

I'm not so sure. It lacks nearly all the benefits of being part of the EU, whilst also making a return to the EU harder.

That ship has sailed, we won't be returning to the EU anytime soon. In a few decades, who knows what the global landscape will be like. My hope is that in the next 20-30 years the EU, the US and CPTPP will align together and maybe eventually become a single trading and regulatory block.
