British Grand Prix 2015, Silverstone - Race 9/19

I'm not even fond of the track anymore.

It's a pale shadow of how it used to be, and that last remodel to appease the bike gits just about finished the place off.

As for 2008 I'm pretty damn sure you didn't get anywhere near missing the best wet weather drive of anyone ever in f1. He did drive a great race, while all those around made mistakes and some horrendous strategy calls.

Now, be fair. Rubens was great that day. I would certainly put Senna's drive at Estoril in '85 ahead of Rubens', and Jackie Stewart in the '68 German GP, and probably Schumacher's efforts at Spain and Monaco in '96 and '97 respectively. And maybe James Hunt at Fuji in '76, Damon Hill at Suzuka in '94, Vettel's Monza '08 win. And Rubens' own drive at Hockenheim in 2000. But definitely in the top 30 or 40 wet weather drives ever in F1.

Maybe.

The 2008 British GP highlights were shown before the race on Sunday. What struck me was the number of people spinning in the wet (mainly Massa). Maybe it's the lack of proper wet running these days but it seemed Hamilton was on another level that day.

Definitely on my top 5 wet weather drives :)

Think that was the year traction control was banned that's why everyone kept spinning.
