Never played Quake did you? The difference between 20 and 60ms would be shocking. I am with Virgin and get 150ms to all UK Quake Live servers, it really is a joke. I have to play on EU servers to get good ping.
My History.
2000-2005 - Nildram ADSL - Very expensive but amazing pings, best ever.
2005 - 2012 - Be there ADSL - Cheap and great pings. (could only get 6mb speed though despite living in London)
2012 - Got tempted by fast download speeds from Virgin Fiber and am now in a 18 month contract with an ISP that I cannot play my favorite online game with.
