I INTEND TO BUY A Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 FOR MSN LIVE. I HAVE A 2 GB LIMIT PER MONTH ON BROADBAND, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL HOW MANY HOURS USE I WOULD GET WITH THIS LIMIT. OR TELL ME HOU MUCH MB PER HOUR FOR A WEBCAM IN GENERAL.

2GB should be fine for webcam streaming and browsing, try search google for a bandwidth monitor. Then u can see when your going to hit your limit.

No problem, 2 other things.

1. Look for one with a auto cut off cap for the day so your limited a certain amount of bandwidth a day.

2. Turn your freaking caps lock off! :D

Eric,

Webcam streaming shouldn't take up too much bandwidth - so long as you keep the resolution down.
Although if you are monitoring 24x7...
Best bet would be to monitor things for an hour and then do the maths from there:

See how much bandwidth you use in an hour and then multiply that by 720 to work out roughly the bandwidth to monitor a room 24x7 for an average month.

Oh and turn off your caps lock - writing in all caps gives people the impression that YOU ARE SHOUTING and you probably aren't :)
