I tryed using insulation tape but the pliers kept cutting through it so i just got on with tightening them up. I have had things thread on me before so i always tighten something to the point where its just past enough.

There is a slight leak on the bottom fitting of the res tube itself that i have tightened but ill have to keep an eye on it.
