Here at work the only machine we have is a thin client connected to a Solaris server. I managed to compile DosBox but due to the connection via the server being over the internet (rather than LAN), streaming anything (animation, music, whatever) is pretty much impossible. MP3s are so jerky it's not worth trying.
Unfortunately this machine (and its internet connection) are the only things keeping me sane here, since my job involves pretty much absolutely nothing. So I'm basically looking for some form of browser-based entertainment. Turn-based, text-based, whatever.
Can someone recommend a particularly good browser game or website? Being on a thin client means that sound will be turned off, and animations will cause all sorts of nasty banding effects, so best really to not have them
Any ideas?
