Hi Guys,

So yesterday afternoon my internet went down, now since that point, I've been struggling to get anywhere near the broadband speeds I should have. I have rebooted the entire network, the computers, tried different computers, different cables everything you can think of..nothing is working. What is confusing me is that we have a second line into the house, also using BT Broadband and that is operating at normal speeds.

I just did a speed test using the BT tool and got the following result:

First off, does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Secondly, does anyone know how I can raise a fault with BT? I've been searching around on their website and it's just taking me around in circles.

Thanks in advance.

It isn't your IP profile because that's much higher than the actual throughput you're getting. Phone your ISP - if that's BT there's got to be some phone number (and ISTR it being mentioned on here before).

Thanks, I'll give them a call then.

Hey mate, its fine mate, BT have been experienceing problems, I use to get around 6mb and went down to 0.24, I called them and they reset my line which can take up to 12 hours (do now reset router within 12 hours) and then its all fine now.
