Do you have BT Broadband? If not, it is £25 per month.

I could change I'm out of contract with sky, I considered changing everything over to ee today becsuse I could get bumped up to 10gb data on their cheapest s6 deal and end up saving £60 p/m over sky and 3 and that was without looking at quidco or tcb.

Can anyone confirm if tethering works? received offer in post and clearly says on the back "You cannot tether"

I dont want to tie in for 12 months if thats not possible.

AFAIK it does work just isn't officially supported. I can let you know for sure on tuesday hopefully when my sim arrives.

OK, that's strange. Just put the BT SIM in anyway and it has been activated. All seems to be working without issue. Is that because BT is using EE's infrastructure?

BT mobile use the EE network so you probably don't need your phone unlocking.

Then get him to apply through his account. The cost is added to his BT bill and you just set up an SO to cover the cost. Simples.

That's what I thought and I asked BT Customer Services (a foreign call centre) and was told I would have to unlock it. I am pleased they were wrong. Just need to port my old number over now - I've had it 12 years and am rather fond of it.

Bizarre to not let you tether, I mean 20GB is 20GB. They must charge as well if you go above 20GB so surely in their best interests for you to blitz your data allowance
