Hi guys, I’ve now got a Speedtouch 585i and already, in about 2 hours of it being on, I’ve increased sync - twice! So I’m happy with that What else can I try with this unit, aren’t you able to fiddle with the snr and sync rate etc to try and get the best from your line? I’m thinking of also asking my ISP for get my profile reset, so I can go through the training period again with my new kit Thanks, SW.

Currently, syncing at 2400kbps - its' been like that for nearly two days without change, so fingers crossed My stats: My snr of 12.5 seems nailed to the spot! It hasn't changed in the slightest? Not like my wandering snr that I had with the Netgear... I haven't done any tweaks yet, I'm going to wait and see if my BRAS changes up at all - I'm still on 1728kbps atm. Which means about 1.4 MB. So, I'm pretty happy so far, the 585i has definitely been worth the upgrade, even though its still early days SW.
