Bucket List

Some really acheivable things on that list Gilly - get them done! Oktoberfest is a £90 return flight away, for example.

I've left out a huge amount of things I wanted to do that I've done :)

We were just discussing it and this is what is left.

Done:

Marriage
Kids
Be a best man
Own a house
Own a car
Fly a plane
Run a multi million pound operation
Be landlord of a pub
Pyramids
Yucatan
Ireland road trip
Scuba

There's loads I still haven't included. I've also got kids so the weekend away thing isn't quite so easy :)

Just had a look back at a list I compiled shortly after my 29th of things to do before I was 30. These were specifically chosen to be largely achievable things that most people would consider mundane / simple things that would have done long before that age:

1) Buy a lottery ticket
2) Share trading
3) Go to a pub quiz
4) Go to a gym
5) Laser Quest or similar
6) Start writing some kind of regular online blog
7) Apply to be on a TV quiz show
Make an effort to contact old friends (adding to FB doesn't count, I must actually communicate with them!)
9) Formulate a realistic career plan
10) Tear up #9 and formulate an ambitious career plan
11) Sort our house out i.e. actually deploy all the pictures/hooks/curtains etc we buy
12) Give my wife some stick for being in her 30s
13) Reorganise all our paperwork/filing
14) Take out a pension
15) Make a will
16) Write to the council about the dangers of crossing the road opposite my office
17) Update this list
18) Book a trip to Australia
19) Revisit uni campus
20) Learn how to drink shots
21) Go to a comedy club event / standup show etc

In the end I only managed about half of them.
