Budget 1440 monitor

Hi there

I need to upgrade my sons set up, currently gtx 970 and 24" Dell ips monitor.

I want to go to a 2060 and a 27" 1440 monitor. Trouble is im trying to keep the budget on the lower side as I dont want to go with a slower card. Can anybody recommend a monitor between £200 - £250.

He generally plays the following games:
COD
Borderlands 3
fortnite
Minecraft

Q3279VWFD8 would def be my choice, 75hz and 1440p & works well with nVidia Freesync (tried it with my Ti and is fine);

I bought an 27" EG(Element Gaming) 144Hz 1440p panel for about £200 I think it was.. Cant complain at all.. It may not have the best brightness, colour accuracy etc but not really noticed any ghosting and to be honest coming back to PC gaming after such a long time my main issue for me was screen tearing and with my Vega56 I don't see any of that at all. I get great frame rates and the games that I have played so far have been smooth as silk(Gears5, Metro Exodus, Fortnite, Forza Horizon 4).
