Budget Build

Okay.
So once I setup everything and start for the first time do I go into bios straight away and change ssd setting to ahci? Then install Windows?

Okay need help. I do not know what to do with front panel connectors. There are so many options.
I have
Power led + wire
Power led - wire
Power sw wire
Reset sw wire
Hdd led wire
This is the options on mobo. Where do I put what

power led wire goes to PLED.
if you look at the wire end, there should be a small triangle. that triangle is the +VE end (ie goes into PLED+ etc)
hdd led wire goes into HD (ends DO matter)
power switch wire goes to PW (ends dont matter for this)
reset switch wire goes to RES (ends dont matter for this)

Which way around it goes in, which orientation (writing up or writing down, doesn't matter.)

there should be either a 8 or 4pin connect up by your cpu too
sorry didnt see what motherboard you have, but that needs connecting

Okay. I think I've connected everything but when I click the power button nothing happens.
I have switched on the back of PSU.
Is it the headers that ive got wrong?

You probably haven't done the headers properly (or hope that) - got a pic of them? And also a shot of the whole mobo?

Every question you have asked, is answered in your mobo manual, that's why they include it. It also offers a lot of info, as well as some fault finding tips. You really should try reading it. It will also help you set up your bios and has guides, should you need to flash the bios for any reason.

Seems we have another Chessit! :D:p
