Looking for a budget phone to replace my iPhone mini 13 (replacing the battery and handing it down to my step daughter)

I’ve had enough of iOS and want to switch back to android.

main uses are just every day browsing, WhatsApp, clash of clans now and then and YouTube.

I can get the Motorola edge 50 Neo for £150 which I’m tempted by with the smaller size and wireless charging, is there anything else to consider in this price range as I am out of the loop with current phones.

Thanks in advance

I'm in the market for a budget phone right now. Been seriously considering the CMF 2 Pro for around £220.

But the Motorola you mention seems a bit better according to reviews. £150 is a cracking price for that phone. Where are you seeing it at that price?

just bear one thing in mind, I have seen people do what you are proposing in the past, then declare that android is crap.

cheap android phones aren't as good as the higher end ones, they tend to be buggy sometimes, and you will be directly comparing what was once an £600/700 iphone to a £200 phone.

Just abit of a update on this, I purchased the edge 50 neo for £150 while it was on offer.

It’s a decent phone for the price only issues are camera lag using the stock camera app so I switched to Gcam.

Also the screen seems to be incredibly weak my 2 year old knocked it off the arm of the chair and the screen cracked but screen protector was fine (might of landed at a funny angle)

It’s holding up perfectly fine for my daily driver and happy to be back on android although it is taking abit of getting used to again.
