It's a thunderbug. They crawl in through the front bezel and get between the filters. If it does there then the only way to get it out is to take the monitor apart.
Its happened to me a few times. They get in your TV too.
Turns out there were 4 of those little damn bugs, No idea HOW that got in but they got in. The dead bug got squashed when I was unscrewing it. Well, £600 monitor is now RIP and no longer working
More commonly known as thripps.
I have anti-thripp netting over my windows, for this very reason - We have farmers' fields out the back of our house and I've still got at least 20 of the ***** in my very expensive monitor. The worst is when you're playing something (in my case I was trying out PUBG) and you shoot at 'a figure on the horizon', only to find it's a ******* thripp!!
They might, but no guarantees. Same for tapping, jiggling, cycling pixels and all the other tricks.
Disassembly seems to be the only option in many cases.

I have a name at long last, thanks. Been googling trying to find out what bugs that they are. throughout the day I find even more of them around the room. Next time not to kill it and damn squished it. Just let it run around being free and maybe help it a little to get near the edge. But in my case, it's RIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP. Hate bugs right now.

Yet I do not know how they get to be up in my office! THe bugs loves to be around weeds and plants right? then why they are three-story high in the roof and coming from my window. They just walked from the ground to the top and then into my screen.
Does anyone know what products to kill those damn bugs?
They are very common this time of year. I tend to game less at this time for this very reason although I've found kids tend to do that all year round anyway
I have one just below and to the left of the centre of my monitor and it does my head in. Been there about 6 months and nothing will shift it. At least now I can feel that leaving it there was the right call instead of risking breaking it
