Time for a new home for my hardware and build #6.

The case is on order and I've been contemplating it for a while an took the plunge at the weekend. (another one Whyscotty twisted my arm with!)

A good bulk of the parts will be transferred from my TJ07 build. I wanted to build in a new case with more space and cooling options.
Like many of us I am a Bitspowerholic so thought I would build a system using only BP waterblocks and fittings.

Case: Caselabs SM8 - On Order :)
Waterblocks & Fittings - All Bitspower

10/12mm Rigid Acrylic tubing

Great spec looking forward to seeing this one. Can I ask what your going to use this build for?

I'm into photography and 3d model textures for FSX & X-plane so I do a lot of Photoshop work and a spot of simming while the wife is home!.

In the main browsing for computer parts to change and new cases ;)

Now we really need a 'CL cases owners thread' :D
Looking forward to see your build take shape.
I had to put mine on hold for a month so I am happy to see something new :D

Hmm, just re-read and noticed rad colors.
White, black or panda ( build theme ) ?

Haha I wondewred how long it would take for someone to pick up on the white rad choice. I think it should look quite good however the AX rads are easy to spray if not. :D

Cheers for the comments all - Case order was picked up on Monday and has a 5-7 day lead time for production. Should be shipped on Monday with any luck.
Waiting for some other parts from the US anyway so next weekend could be the big update time.

Just need to order a few miles of Rigid tube :D

Just got the shipped email from FedEx. Case Del date is Monday 31st.
Looks like my other us shipment with my new BP goodies has gone ton Australia according to USPS that really could delay things.

Still awaiting

- New tube res
- Lighting
- 5m Rigid tubing

Once I get the deliveries in I can get moving. Here it is for now.
The horizontal support bar will be covered as I am fabricating a midplate and side cover

The Aquaero will be housed in there with the display visible on the midplate. The pump and PSU will also be hidden.

Lots to do!

Midplate is now sized and dremmel'd out to fit. I can now order the real thing from the laser cutters.

Res fixing is solved. Inlet/outlets will be take behind the Mobo tray to maintain the floating look

All parts have now arrived & spending is over - for now

Love the bending what did you use ?
Tube routing looks awesome very clean
My step drill piece looks massive compared to yours and a lot safe
Mine looks like it will eat my mid plate up!
As ever beautiful build m8 :)

Thanks mate. I don't use anything for bending just the inner tube bender and heat. It's decent stuff to work with after a few goes. I just line it up by eye and allow an inch each end then cut to size.

Step drill will be fine just keep it on a lowing speed if the teeth look aggressive.

Thanks fellas. Had a WC disaster today. Broken seal on a fitting leaked on my Mobo and GPU - All ok now thank god and I have finished the loop finally and filled it up.

Still to do
- Make new cables (molex & power hub)
- Cable tidy back

Pics tomorrow for you
