At last - some progress. Got the plate fitted. Need to re-juice and get some proper pics tomorrow

Really thinking that 16mm OD acrylic tubing would look better. I just can't find any fittings I like - I hate the Monsoon chain guns and the EK fittings have a very poor finish. Will make the move when someone brings out some classy fittings.

Completely agree. Don't know what it is but everything that they do just fits great and works!

Need to get rid of my redundant BP fittings at some point. I've got boxes full of the stuff

Hi

I got the sm8 drop in 120.4 for the top - 240 flex bay and a single extra + a accessory bar.

I got the case 3 days after dispatch

All in 350 including the 35 quid FedEx import tax
 
Finally located the new BP 16mm acrylic fittings should be here Friday. The 12mm tube looks a touch puny in my build. I will try the white fluid again when I get the new tubing done.
 
Really pleased with them. Just waiting for the 16mm Mandrels so I can get the tube done. Should be able to pick them up from OCUK tomorrow.

@systemerror - Yes all from the US. Odd bit from Germany. I tend to buy a stack of stuff to keep shipping reasonable.
 
57 dollars for quite a big box of imports. Most vendors will calculate shipping for you. FedEx priority international is delivered in 3 working days and worth the premium for me.
Best to have a a few mates help you fill a box - remember import duty c20%
 
Just got the Monsoon 16mm Mandrels so its bending time.

@Krowzer - I think the 12mm looks a touch weak in larger cases. Caselabs are very open with lots of room. I would recommend 16mm - I have some 16mm flex tubing in my system whilst I waited for parts and already it looks better as it's bulked up and fills the voids
 
No problem at all - The EK tubing has a slightly thicker wall and is way over priced vs Monsoon. Monsoon also arrives in a really well packed box. EK comes in a bag I had a few poor examples with cracks and scratches.
 
I will dig out the template I drew in illustrator if you like. I got coldzero to cut it as the aquaero 5 sits in it. I'm rebuilding today so I will get it when I load up.

I really have no need for 2. I had SLI 580's and 680's previously.
I use the machine for photoshop & Illustrator - Xplane and FSX wich have zero benefit from SLI.

casual gaming with BF4 etc which the system runs on ultra 1440p @60fps.
I really see no benefit if you have fluid and sustainable frame rates.

I prefer to get a new card every generation now as I constantly update my system so graphics demands are not an issue.
 
I'm not keen on how the monsoon fittings look to be honest. They are good quality though if you like the looks go for it.

The 12mm looked to small in my build because of the size of the case and 1 gpu etc. have a looks at the 900d in fantasticCGs white knight log. The thinner tube looks good in that as he has a lot of blocks and dual loop.
