course, if you load up the game, and select 'load level' (pick the level you want (ofc >.<)) and then press alt+f4, or ctrl+f4 you can choose how much budget you can have and how heavy the train is

i made my computer lag by copying and pasting over 1million sticks

Nice. Im stuck on new9 now, and its doing my nut in. Its hometime soon anyway. Hmm, whata hard job I have. half an hour writing a letter, then 7 and a half hours of building bridges.

same boat as you, i've just managed to finish the old package, but am stuck on new 9 (hence moving back to old pack)

I've got right up to the last part connecting the bridge to the end...but every time I do it it breaks.

i've got it, it passes, but breaks as the train crosses back, but who cares if it breaks as long as the job gets done

465000 on the old 1 level without it braking

This engineering nonsense does come in handy then

Well I had another go and got this:

After that it broke but passed up to 751000 before the train didn't make it over

edit2: made it 702000 now

Just managed to do New9! Finally! Ended up cheating a little by not having the bridge fully connected at one end and it jumping...but what the hell, it worked.

Its a resolution thing.
Its got to be at 4:3 resolutions iirc for it to work fine.
