Here's my first of two builds this fall, another team up with Parvum Systems, this time for a highly customized Advanced Warfare themed mITX build. Originally I was set for a totally different theme but then last week at Gamescom Microsoft showed off their limited Advanced Warfare controller and console. I then switched themes and have decided to tread familiar ground in doing a build inspired by another Xbox One controller. I just couldn't help myself. I'm pretty inspired by the controllers color pallet, it's very unique and I think this build will turn out completely amazing with the plans I have...

This build is possible with the support of Swiftech, DazMode, Darkside, Ensourced Cables, and of course the talented lads at Parvum Systems.

Here's the controller I'll be using for the inspiration here:

Z6hK5Uc.jpg

Main Components:

Case - Parvum Systems custom mITX
CPU - Intel 4790k
Motherboard - EVGA Z97 Stinger
Memory - (still undecided)
GPU - Nvidia Titan Black
SSD - (still undecided)
PSU - (still undecided)

Watercooling Components:

CPU Block - Swiftech Apogee XL
GPU Block - Swiftech Komodo NV LE
Radiators - Darkside 120mm and 240mm
Ram Block - (still undecided - may not use one)
Pump - Swiftech MCP 35X
Pump Housing - Bitspower
Reservoir/Pump Top Combo - Bitspower
Fittings - Bitspower True Brass
Tubing - E22 12mm OD acrylic tube
Coolant - (still undecided)

Miscellaneous:

Ensourced custom cables
Darkside lighting
Custom vinyl and paintwork by me

I don't have 100% of the components chosen yet, but I'm almost there. Parvum currently has my case design mockup and will be starting it next week - it's going to be spectacular.

Let's get this thing started!!!

Here's the video unveil of the finished build!

The first two specimens for the build....

I must say I'm a big fan of this motherboard's aesthetic and it begs to be customized...

Here's the graphical specimen for the build - an Nvidia Titan Black straight from the production line :)

Also, on the topic of the GPU, a box of goodies arrived from Swiftech :thumb:

Lovin your quality pics, what are you using for a background?

The close ups of the Titan are very cool, but for me the bitspower fittings in Gold are awesome... :D

Thanks, I'm using Savage seamless background paper. Really good stuff, bought from amazon. Works better than a light box/tent enclosure.

56k warning!

Here's some goodies from Swiftech, the Apogee XL and the KOMODO NV LE. With the LED lighting feature these pieces will be perfect for customization in the build.

First One here is the KOMODO NV LE GPU block for the Titan Black. The weight of this thing is nuts and it absolutely oozes quality. You can see in some of my macro shots how good the fit and finish on this thing is. I love that it also has a very robust, military grade look to it and it will look amazing in the build - particularly with the orientation of the GPU in the case...

Next is the Apogee XL CPU block, again oozing in build quality. The Swiftech logo on top lights up and is going to be getting the custom treatment with a new top light piece that ties in with the AW theme...

This package contains some products from Darkside - some amazing LED lights and two incredibly thin radiators - absolutely perfect for a Parvum build. Right now I'm going to show the radiators and later I'll talk about the lights and their options.

Here are the 240 and 120 rad's I'll be using in the build:

James really looking forward the the actual build, the anticipation is high :D

I need to learn how to take pic like that ! You must wear gloves, not a fingerprint anywhere ;)

Thanks! I promise the final result will be a masterpiece:)

And no gloves, just careful handling and a blow gun. If all else fails Lightroom's spot removal tool does the trick :)

Great components, great photos and great excitement over this build!

Now we need a great case to put everything in and it will all be... great :D

When does the Parvum arrive?

Soon.... :)

Also, I just got done chatting to a certain coolant manufacturer - and boy oh boy something very special and unique is going in this build...

Slight plot twist - I was installing the Bitspower ram heatsinks on the HyperX and quickly realized that the Bitspower heatsinks do NOT work with a memory module that only has chips on one side (these HyperX memory modules were only 4Gb per piece so there were chips only on one side). So instead I grabbed some GSkill 8gb modules that I had for the other build I'm doing soon. The other build is switching to x99 so these became spare. Here's how they look!

I'm done painting the bitspower ram kit, no more logos. As well as the GPU backplate and the evga motherboard shroud.

I'll be designing, cutting, and applying new graphics to these parts to tie in with the theme.
