Build muscles - in a certain like way? lol.

Franco Columbo for me has the ultimate physique - though Arnie is not far off.

Them guys look heawg though you wouldn't look right in day to day! You guy's just want to look as big as possible right? I kind of do see the appeal if I was tall (like really tall 6'6 etc) I'd probably love to go really big but normal guys won't look right like that?

P.S. Nice pics in other thread freefaller, time to east some pasta bah...

Are you guys nuts? That guys turning me man, actually yeah I think I would. Show me these guys you aspire to please.

imbalanced and very small.

better bodies to aim for, for you : any of the mens health models really, at least they have proportion and some mass.

Moody rocks, i hope he gets his pro card and stays clean, he is a shining example of what is possible naturally :]

I really find his body to be near perfect. He has plenty of mass! His arms look shapely and he's got a big chest too.

he looks like he has mass because he has no fat.
just like brad pit in fight club.

from the pic you have posted, it looks like he has worked his chest and his arms and thats about it.
he looks to have next to no lat width, his shoulders look small and (admittedly its a crap pic for it) no shape to his legs.

Perfect in your eyes but aesthetically speaking he mings. He has little mass hardly any shape to him. Not just from a subjective point of view either. My thighs are probably bigger than his chest :p

Can you just work certain areas and keep getting bigger/stronger there whilst not working others? I was under the impression to grow you have to work all areas.

you can work certain areas, but doing so will cause imbalances in the body, thats not a good thing.
you will be limited to an extent as well.

for example, to have a big chest you really need to work the shoulders and tris, to an extent also the lats.

Totally off the point, when you guys do dumbell benches and dumbdell millitary bench for shoulders what weights do you use - if you're doing a 3X8 set.

Haha, recommending Franco.. joker :p

What's with that Jim Cordova chap? Surely that isn't lifetime natural?

you need to change your thinking. it isnt about how much you lift its about intensity.

dont try and compete against others in what weight is being moved, just make sure you are training 100% with the weight that you are using.

So true - there's a quote although I forget who said it that goes something like, "If you don't feel queasy after doing curls, you're doing them wrong!"

I'm only just touching 5'8 on a good day but I'd love to get as big as I possibly can, some of the shorter body builders look top notch. Although if youve seen my pics in the pics thread youl see I've got a very long way to go

I'm always lifting at my hardest - that I struggle to finish - is this correct? Most of the time if I drop my weight by 4-5 KG's thought I feel the burn better. Just I see guys big guys lifting same as me - I think they can go harder but they never do.
