I've specced this system so far and am not looking to spend much more (800 max).

Looking to start PC gaming rather than buying a new gen console and perhaps mine a little

Case, HDD, monitor and peripherals are already sorted.

If in the future I wanted to crossfire with another 280x would it be worth it or would I get a cpu bottle neck?

also

Would the chosen PSU support this AMD system and crossfired 280x?

Thanks

Personally id opt for the 4670K options and still offers xfire options down the line in budget.

If i wanted to do a micro atx system running just one 280x with an i5 4670k what psu and micro atx board would you guys recommend?

Don't you already have the case?

Anyway, these would be my mATX motherboards of choice, depending on the budget:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5 Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £139.99
1 x Asus Z87 GRYPHON Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £107.99
Total : £257.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

I've got the Sniper myself - it's great.

Gotcha.

Unless you need to save space or you need the relative portability of an mATX system, I'd stick with ATX. More expansion options, and the Gigabyte UD4H motherboard plus free CM Seidon cooler is a great deal.
