Hi, :)

I very much like the AMD one, thats what i would have suggested (honest)..

If you want it under budget you can grab the IceQ boost 270x instead:

YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS Radeon R9 270X IceQ BOOST 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £149.99
Total : £159.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Though if you can afford it the windforce is a better cooler. :)

Do you have an existing PC, if so, can you list it`s spec. As you you may be able to reuse some parts.
For £600, the AMD build Stulid has specced you is excellent value, performance/price. If you go with his build, it might be worth stretching your budget slightly and getting a decent air cooler, the AMD stock cooler is a bit noisy.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Raijintek Themis Direct Contact CPU Cooler £17.99
Total : £23.96 (includes shipping : £4.98).

Nothing wrong with AMD when your budget won't stretch to a Z87 and Intel "K" CPU together.

Plus it leaves more money to be spent on the GFX card.

That seems like a really good build but i was told to avoid amd when it comes to gaming

When you have a tight budget there is nothing wrong with going AMD. Exrayted put that spec in another thread aswell, I'll add the alternative I did below.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI Radeon R9 270 Gaming Edition OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £143.99
1 x AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8320 Black Edition 3.50GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail £119.99
1 x Samsung 120GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE120BW) £79.99
1 x Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AMD 970A (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £56.99
1 x Avexir Core Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16000904G-2CIR) £55.99
1 x Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 2 520w '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply £49.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £43.99
1 x Prolimatech Panther CPU Cooler £32.99
1 x BitFenix Comrade Midi-Tower - Black £29.99
1 x Pioneer 24x Internal DVR-221LBK DVD Rewriter - OEM £17.99
Total : £646.00 (includes shipping : £11.75).

heatsink has put it a tad bit further over budget. If you really want intel it would be wise to aim for the i5K whilst it's on offer......

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £167.99

1 x Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 2 520w '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply £49.99

The mobo is definitely an entry level spec & the free cooler isn't fantastic to be honest but is better than the stock one till you can afford to replace it. All the best with it bud we look forward to seeing what you settle on :)

might just do that first amd build as i have to do it today because of reduced prices on certain components ends tomorrow.

The weekly offers go from Wednesday to Wednesday.

But it is a good spec and the board will easily cope with the CPU. Add a £25 heatsink and you could be doing over 4.5Ghz.

Case posted by stulid in first reply is very good for the price.
I had it for over a year without any problems. And yes, it allows both mATX and ATX motherboards.

ok i wanna order this one but the mobo is out of stock can anyone recommend a suitable replacement as i am a bit clueless when it comes to pcs these days aint built one in years. also a slightly better case would be nice.
