Building a PC - have I forgotten anything??

The BitFenis Shinobi looks excellent! I know we geeks love all the lights and stuff that you generally have in a computer case but considering I'm likely to often leave it on all nightI don't want all the glaring lights.

Ok cool, thanks for clearing that up. I'll look for some that support the standard ATX. I'm basically worried that over holidays I won't be able to bring the computer back from uni on the train etc. I think if it's micro, however, I'll be alright carrying that around.

Its exactly what you want if your concerned about size and it still has the good stuff a Z68 board should have.

Fantastic! My main worry has been resolved then I think. Now just to fund it...

have you looked at the NZXT Vulcan?

OCUK dont stock them anymore, not sure if they ever did but if you shop around you can find them for around £50

some reviews.

Great, thanks a lot for the links. I'll have a better look at them later but at a quick glance that case looks great!

Regarding the case, I think I'll be getting something by Silverstone, probably an SG01 or SG02F-B. What do you reckon?

Would you guys mind speccing me a reasonably priced (maybe coming in at under £200) 64GB SSD and graphics card. Bear in mind that this will be used for some gaming, not particularly heavy but I mostly want to be able to run stuff on high graphics, and for 3D modelling using Solidworks.

Cheers!
Jono

Thanks a lot stulid. Is it necessary to get such an expensive SSD? It looks to e quite a bit cheaper just to get 60GB....I mean the fact is that I'll never fill up 60GB or 64GB but would definitely fill a 30GB SSD. I don't know...

Those OcUK GPUs are great aren't they?

I wish I could order it all together, it's going to require some saving and selling a guitar. But I don't want the the guitar and it'll be worth it.

Great, that GPU should be grand then.

Hahah absolutely, I'd noticed it on a few threads actually. I'm more than willing to go for the OC GPU if it saves money. The bottom line is whether it's up to spec, and I believe you!

More questions guys.

I don't know if you've seen my thread here or not. Basically, if I really want a portable PC I'm thinking that I may have to go for Mini ITX...is there an equivalent MB for this also in case I do decide to go that way? I think it would open up a lot of possibilities for me.
