Don't think there is much in it. Both are very good boards with all the bells and whistles. I would pick up the Extreme4 myself. IIRC the Asus has blutooth, the Extreme4 have some sort of optimised, powered USB. Dunno if this is just a gimmick or useful. It's a popular board with no major complains. Both overclock extremely well, both have sensible layouts, support SLI / XFire, UEFI bios, both are quality, I'm just tired of blue boards
Some people are brand conscious, and swear by Asus which imo is a solid brand. Apart from their P67 debacle. Asrock is now a subsidiary of Asus also.
