So as I'm looking into cases right now, will this set up fit in a micro case? Or a midi? I don't want to re-spec to include those options butit's something I want to consider

Not a micro case, if you just list the case here it can be checked if it takes a ATX board, or visit the makers website and it will say what boards it supports.

Thats right, its most micro cases take a M-ATX motherboard, the Asrock pro3 is a standard ATX size.

Ok cool,thanks for clearing that up. I'll look for some that support the standard ATX. I'm basically worried that over holidays I won't be able to bring the computer back from uni on the train etc. I think if it's micro, however, I'll be alright carrying that around.

OCUK dont stock them anymore, not sure if they ever did but if you shop around you can find them for around £50

Its exactly what you want if your concerned about size and it still has the good stuff a Z68 board should have.
