Hello all, well this is my first time building my own sytem but im extremely confident i can build it easy enough, however i could use some advice on some parts.

Heres what i was planing on ordering.

Processor:
qx6700 (for sure) oem version, no difference from retail except no fan right?

GPU: 2x 8800 gtx (for sure) probably leadtek as they are cheapest on here or should i go for another brand?

Motherboard: EVGA 680i (for sure)

Memory: This is a part im not to sure on, will pc 6400 be good enough? If so what make, Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)? or say GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)? Will 8500 type give a performance gain to warrant the price difference?

Harddrive: Western Digital Raptor 150GB WD1500ADFD 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache - OEM (for sure) will probably add a second for raid 0 further down the line.

Case: Im not to sure on this either, i want a case with good cooling and great looks and not to loud and dont want to spend all that much, £150ish tops, maybe a bit more if the need arises, preferably closer to £100 though :). I was thinking Thermaltake VA8003BWS Armour Super Tower - Black (perhaps kandalf equivalent) is it a good case? i should also add i kinda like the style of lian-li cases, but what 1 for this set up?

Cpu Cooler: Was thinking, Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler, is this good enough or is there something else i should consider?

PSU: I was thinking, Enermax Galaxy 1000w, or should i consider something else?

EDIT: Sound card will Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS Edition

EDIT2: what dvd drive?

Thanks in advance :)

Ive got the armour and i think its great lol but a lot of ppl on here dont rate thermaltake very well lol :p althought it is a dust magnet

The g70 is appealing, would that be a good bet for this system?

Also what about the akasa mirage (eclipse i ment)? it looks closer to the price id like to spend. How much case fans come with that if any, anyone knows? will it fit 2 8800 gtx's?

So what about the other stuff i listed can anyone give me some advice?

Yea good point i guess but id like to save some some where if possible, i kinda thought id get a good enough case without going all out, but yea im prepared to spend more on it if need be.

Anyway would the akasa eclipse fit 8800s and tunic tower? should i even go for that cooler?

meh, the case, cooler and memory is the parts im really not sure on, dying to order it all today though so any advice would be much appreciated.

Heh sorry not very good on air coolers lol been watercooled for few years now and before that i used stock  and memory im not sure in same boat myself considering for my new system, a lot of ppl recommend and buy the geil because its good stuff and cheaper, but then again i like the look of the dominators lol they must be better for that price surely??

i also have the Thermaltake Armour can't say ive had many problems with dust except the front of the case does collect dust but you simply just wipe or hoover it out works a treat, mind you the case weighs an absoloute ton seriously heavy loads of space though.
