Building the kandalf LCS!!

Man, I envy you lol. I am still in the midst of choosing between akasa/lian li/kandalf. I have heard that LL and akasa is better, would love to hear ** input regardin this case after u have assembled everything ;)
 
We never said they were necissarily better cases, just better for you. ;)

Water cooling for the first thing I did with a computer to me is a big step.
 
Just been looking at the specs on Thermaltake's website.

Net Weight 21.92 kg

Omg and I though my P180 was heavy.

I feel you pain if you had to carry it up stairs MightyMatt.

Depending on what temps you get MightyMatt I may consider getting this case.
 
Thats all i got so far guys, temps tomorrow fingers crossed, next upgrades include cathodes and a better psu!

this case is awesome guys, honestly, i recommend it to the pope..if he was into this kinda stuff.

Martys words: Very nice case, air cooling which i think is good on conroe e6600 but keeping it tidy is impossible and space is a big issue espically with x1900, phyx and x-fi



The pic above shows just how bad it is, thought this case was much bigger but an utter waste of money all round and the way its advertised is misleading, on the site its madeout to be a massive job but its not

In money terms i think the Kandalf saves u a pocket full and the preinstalled LCS is an added bonus

Great looking case and a tidy install! :cool:

Incidentally, Mightymatt - how do you find your x850 xfire? Have one card and a xfire board and wondered if it was worth the upgrade? I'm not runnin resolutions past 1440x900 (i know 850 xfires limit at 1600) so will it make much of an impact?

hey, i never used 1 x850 on its own tbh, but in xfire im getting 25000 in 3d03 and 5.5k in 3d06. it oes take xp an extra few seconds to finish loading but visual quality in games is firstclass. i no theres a lot of single cards better than both of mine but ill be sticking with this setup until dx10 or ati stop supporting them, which ever is first!!

hey no probs junkie. got the first temps, got windows reinstalled on to the raid and clocked new 4800+ to 2.8GHZ, bios read temperature at 27c!!! my 4600+ clocked to the same speed was read at 32c in bios with the swiftech apex ultra cpu cooler so this is impressive guys...:D
