Building the kandalf LCS!!

Well i was planning on getting the Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultra Watercooling Kit but seen as this seems really good, i may be tempted to buy it.

Is the water cooling in the Thermaltake VE2000SWA Armour LCS the same as in the Kandalf but with a double rad instead of the tripple, or as OcUK have it a 'tipple' rad?

If it is I may save some money and get the Armour.
 
Looks like im going to get the Armour if I can get the money togther.

Is the PSU located on the other side of that upper hard drive cage thing?



*I think ill need to buy a flack jacket aswell, im gonna gets loads of flack of my parents. Or maybe I can move away for a few weeks.*

Well ive just upgrading to Conore and that cost me £600 odd, and they aint too happy at that.

Ill have to see what happens. If I can get some money by selling some stuff I may not lose that much money.

im seriously tempted at getting one of these and to think i was looking at a nice light alu case for my gaming rig! :o - my P180 was heavy - i rekon this is jsut going to be silly - weight wise!!

The black version which is steel weighs 21.92 kg, but the silver aluminium one only weighs 14.61 kg but costs £18.85 more.

But both the Armours are priced the same but the steel one weighs 21.08 kg and the aluminium weighs 13.87 kg.

Im probabilly going to get the silver Armour.

If I was going to get the Kandalf I would get the silver aluminuim one. 22kg is just stupidly heavy. No way I could lug that round to a mates.

great news If I can sell some stuff, I will be ordering the silver Armour. :)

Yeah its probailly so heavy and big that it actually has its own gravitational pull, so all my friends will definatly be round to mine.
 
Second picture looks strange but from what I can make out it looks serioulsy good.

Making me consider if I should get the Kandalf over the Armour now.
 
well i must say. Siting in the room now looking at that monster of a case. Well good! Defo must get me 1! love the setup and thats from siting here looking at it not the pics but actually sitting here in MM's room!! :cool:
 
Just had a look at the pics agian.

How small are you MM, that door is tiny, u must be at most 4 foot. :p
 
Umm what temps you getting with the cooling system in there? Im thinking of Kandalf LCS i like the price (only £50 for spec wise a decent lcs) but im not sure, either that or a £100 tops custom cooling kit, but that would probly be to £££ as im only 15, not aloud to get near a job (parents moan about school ect + my sister is at Cambridge doign Maths and something so i have a lot to live up too :()

So yeah some temps please :) + what CPU ect, also can this LCS run a CPU GPU and perhaps Northbridge or ram cooler aswell?
