You have to find the good places to go, I was going around Romania in the early 90's and even though generaly things where pretty bad, if you know where to go you could get a very good time for nothing.

Of course most people here don't really know where to go, but please don't go there with the mentality of a British person, it's not Britain, yes they have a lot of work to do but they have some beautyfull beaches and good weather, so you better get a house in the seaside.

Think about it this way, the weather here is probably one of the worst in the Europe, thing won't change, however the Balkans are changing for the better, very, very fast so in 10 years time I would expect things to be perfect.

Also, chicks are nice and much slimmer than here :p
The man is talking from personal experience :D

Yes, no nookie for me if I talk **** about our former territories. And she's so full of bull when it goes to Macedonia, don't even get her started on that, she says Macedonia is a place of it's own and not Greek? HAHA:D

But in all seriousness, I'v been to many countries that some British guys (and other peolpe) consider inferior, which is pretty sad in my oppinion, they have been through a lot of and it's no wonder they are just begining to get better. Personally I had more fun in Bucharest (that's in Romania) than in Rome, as long as you are with cool people it doesn't matter if you live in Irak you still gonna have a good time :p

Thank for the offer dude but we already have that covered :) . Our main supplier in Italy has distributors all over the world and 1 of them happens to be in Bulgaria :D so while in Italy last weekend for a works conference we had a chat with them and are talking to them over email every so often.

Bulgaria is awful country dont go, so bad... never again.

ding ding! Winner!

Went there just over a year ago. Went Snowboarding to Borovets. Didn't like the people, girls wern't that hot.

Spent a day in Sofia. Dreary place that made me want to kill myself.

Do yourself a favour, don't buy in Bulgaria. Try Poland or Czech Republic. Nicer places, nicer ladies, nicer everything!

I have to agree with everyone here, don’t bother, its not a nice place I have a few friends living there and its awful. My ex is living there now as her family opened a factory. It all went wrong due to problems with the mafia. I think they lost a massive amount of money.

I would recommend Prague, the Czech Republic is a very nice country, still cheapish.
