Hey guys,

Just testing the equipment that i'm eventually going to hardwire into the car, concluded it doesn't particularily like the harsh exposure contrast of street lights at night, need to try it properly during the day!

What do you think of the sound balance? There is on mic clipped to the rear bumper near one of the tailpipes, another clipped between the intake and the actual block under the bonnnet. I need to experiment with some wind shielding for the exhaust mic I think!

Night test run, 32mb

Excuse the connection problem the first time i full throttle it :x

Thanks for looking :)

Tom.

I'd got it by then :p

Sounds good. Audio sounds like a good mix! Certainly sounds better than just the induction anyway. Video quality looks good too. Apart from the bleeding from the lights, can't complain otherwise.

Good stuff Tom!

Nice! I need a setup like this. Have you done anything to prevent all the spray/salt/mud off the road getting all over the lens? Also, how will it effect washing your car if you're gonna leave them on?

the camera itself is weatherproof so that's not a problem, would just need to be careful of the rear mic!

Ill have to watch the clip again but I know the connection went slightly dodgy late on? I had the camera in the same footwell as my gf's feet which didn't work when she moved and knocked things :p

sounds great :)

so thats what my car kinda sounds like from the outside :P

if you have a decatted twin exit powerflow, a K&N 57i, and SVT throttle bodies and manifolds (gives it a bit more of a rumble induction wise, or so it seemed) then yea :D

Try a polarising lens in front of the camera. That should stop a lot of the bleeding of the lights.

Cheapest way to get one it go to 'Next' and get a £20 pair of polarising sunglasses.

Looks good otherwise tho'

When you get your Lens corrected. You should try and make a remake of the Le Rendez-vous.
Also your car sounds lush and as such doesn't need a Ferrari engine being played over on top.

Though these days you'll probably be caught. :(
