For those who cant wait to download from steam paste this into your browser steam://install/99810 this works and I am now downloading Bulletstorm. With my crappy 900k broadband it will take 6 hours.
done that but can't see anything physically happening, no download progress bar type thing.
MP is a free for all where you can invite 3 friends or play with 3 randoms. You have to assist each other in kills to get the required points to progress to the next wave in a strict time limit so creative kills earn more points & you have to be quite skillful to get the required amount. You do not fight each other only the aliens who join the map in waves so for instance you have to kill 32 in a certain time limit & with a certain amount of points. It uses GFWL matchmaking so unless you invite friends it will just find 3 other random players to join the same map takes about 1 min to start up on average then but depending on how many players active online. Quickest it started for me was about 20 secs longest was 2-3 mins its purely down to how many players online at the time. If you fail the wave then it restarts very quickly usually under 20 secs.Anyone picked this up yet? (excluding you scum pirates) Whats the multiplayer like?
You won't - it's a background process which bypasses the GUI. It'll only show up as downloading when it's officially released.
I did it again, just incase, (i was impatiend) will this mean it'll download twice?
No it won't re-download files that it already has. (At least I think not.)
MP desciption
Hummm Might wait for the price to drop, as it doesn't have competitive MP (killing other players).they cannot play online at all which is why they usually say GFWL is horrible etc etc
GFWL is terrible its true. When i bought batman arkham asylum, it was just a pain in the ass. I just want to to play not **** around with registering and signing in etc.
People say GFWL is horrible because GFWL is horrible. Pirates don't often say it because they don't really encounter it - it's always bypassed. It's legitimate customers who have the biggest problem with GFWL.
Anyone played this yet? first impressions?
