Just found out there's been 3 break ins down my road tonight. :o

One of the people actually has loads of dogs that bark insanely when you walk up to their door, so shows how useful a dog is. He is also a builder, so prime target?

There's actually a fair bit of crime in the area considering, a small village spread out over a few miles probably makes a ripe picking. A few years back my uncle actually had the tiles from a shed roof stolen, they would come and go for a few days before actually having half the roof away in the back of their van. What makes it worse is they drove through a Church yard to get to it. :o

It just shocks me that people actually think its an acceptable thing to do.

Also, clobbering people who unlawfully entered a property, still illegal?

So OcUK, keep me awake so I stop my things being taken from under me. :p

Just clobber any intruders and deal with the consequences later... thats what any normal person would do anyway

I've thankfully never been burgaled, but that just means it could happen any day now :(

Invest in a stainless steel chin up bar. Makes a handy weapon and it can also look as if it was a spur of the moment thing. Much more conspicuous than a baseball bat.

Tell me about it.

The only problem with my clobering plan is there isn't anything in grab range that isn't worth moolah. :(

Perhaps I should slam the window on them and say it was the wind… :o

Just trying to listen out to any weird noises at the moment, but the Police are all up and down the road so hopefully they've down their dirty deeds for tonight, and hopefully the scum left some nice trails.

lol, a chin up bar, it'd look obvious that it only had one purpose when the Police were to interview me. :p

Sounds like heaven for a VCSE. Wonder if they've actually been called out to the scene?

VisualDSP++ Component Software Engineering? :p

I would ask my mum, but she's gone back to bed.

Perhaps I could dress in black and go and find the Police, to get me some action. ;)

Cool, cheers LizardKing, reasonable it shall be. ;)

Volume Crime Scene Examiner, its a sort of starting point for most CSI's.

They investigate crimes that occur on a large scale, car crime, robberies etc.

Will probably be what I start out doing after my Forensics degree before I train to become a CSI with a police force.

ooo, sounds weirdly fun. Keep at it, then you can help put these crooks away. :)

Yeah they're locked. I'm on the first floor at the front of the house :( If anyone does break in they're gnna get a suprise if they think its the living room.

They do?! Who?!

In my second year at uni I kept a baseball bat by my bed incase any one came into our house which was in an area that a popular target. Never had to use it fortunately.

Upon the day of moving out after a year of bliss, I took a swing at my bare matress just to see how much it might hurt. Bloody thing broke, first strike ROFL.

:D
