I've got the game, was just wondering wether or not to slap in it and download the update. Couldn't find any info on the 360 update being available either.

The 3rd and most ambitious FREE software update for Burnout Paradise will arrive later than expected for Xbox 360 players.

We've picked up some additional bugs in our final test phase for the 360 version of Cagney and will delay until these issues are resolved.

We're unable to give an exact timeline for release, but as soon as we have confirmation, we'll post here on the criteriongames.com. For the moment, we're expecting this to have an impact of around a week-and-a-half. Right now, we're looking at 24th July as a projected date.

Big thanks to Microsoft for picking up these last few bugs. Nothing's more important to us than Burnout fans getting a great service, which is why we won't pull the trigger on Cagney until we're happy that it's bug-free.

thats why i haven't bothered with paradise :(
 
It's a pretty nice update.

Just trying out the custom sound track feature - if you want to use this you don't activate it through the ingame XMB you have to do it through the ingame menu (right on the dpad). You can then set your custom playlist.
 
Latest rumour is it has been pushed back to sept for 360 :(

Might trade in my 360 copy for a PS3 copy.

It's the microsoft certificaton tests. If it fails the tests it wont get released.

As this is a compulsory package, not just an add on, theres bound to be stricter tests.
 
I thought this 1.3 update added custom soundtracks & trophies?

All i can see upto now is a changed main menu and a change of music (for the most part). Dont remember some of the tracks now there, nor do i remember the classical tracks...?

There's been no extra music added, and it does indeed add custom soundtracks. It's all done through EasyDrive, rather than through the options menus. It took me bloody ages to suss it too :p

Davis is out at the end of August, and hopefully will add Trophies, along with motorbikes and a day/night cycle (which looks ace). If not, trophies will probably not arrive until Eastwood, which is looking like October/November time :/

Found it for like £19.99 delivered and was wondering if its worth it. Played Burnout Takedown a ton on the original Xbox and loved it.

All the new, free content for Paradise makes me want to buy it :D
