Burnout Paradise Thread

Played it to death :p Played it through to 100%, then when the trophy patch came out, played through it to platinum (in 2 days I might add). The only trophies I'm missing are two of the party pack ones and the 'boost specials' which aren't out yet :p

Great game, don't understand the negativity of it all.
 
Brilliant game, got hooked into it instantly for a good four months and managed to finish everything in that time!

Only thing that annoyed me was the uncooperative online players who leave during challenges, otherwise the experience is top notch :)

Agree with this, VERY annoying.

A lot of us on here would spend many hours into the morning 'helping' each other, but that seems to have gone out of the window now :(
 
One of the best (gameplay and support wise) games of last year tbh.

Some people complained because they could not handle the non instant restarts for events, but even that has been put in for free now. Probably in top 3 or 4 games I played last years, in terms of hours put in.

Some days my online games were very unlucky because even after playing for a good 4 hours, I had only managed to complete 5 challenges. But it's a great feeling when you're playing with friends or experienced players who help, I get that sense of accomplishment and teamwork when we finish challenges.

I particularly cannot wait for the Island expansion dlc, off I go to watch past Crash Tv's...
 
Got my elite license and 100% completion last night :D

Just have to get 2 sections of challenges and then I'll have 101% too.

Played for 5 mins online today with a few people who have those new toy cars. Dear god they're agile and hard to take down!
 
I guess it was the same with everybody when they first played the game, I used to get lost during races as well but if you stick at it you'll naturally learn the game world and many of its shortcuts too.

Definitely a game that gets better the more you're progress through it, especially when you unlock certain special paint jobs :D
 
There is an option to restart a race now :eek: where is that option?
And I saw the Toy cars but what do they actually do, are they just the same cars but looking toy-like :confused:
