Burns Night

I concede, I could have put my view across in a slightly more eloquent manner.

Oh yea, I did know that you were from Perth. I'm of the firm belief that people in Glasgow are generally friendlier and more hospitable than those from the East Coast (namely Aberdeen & Dundee). I'm not really that clued up on Perth so daren't comment about your townsfolk.

Fair enough, I'll chuck in that I support Dundee, so wasn't completely unbiased!

Perth's an awkward size where the town centre has to accomodate the scum and the good folk as it isn't big enough to have definite good and bad areas for pubs/clubs. Absolute jungle at the weekends. Agree about Glasgow being friendly though. People just speak to anyone here.

Dundee does have a lot of bad areas - however the Ferry is quite nice (I'm biased!). Basically the East and West ends are fine, the centre has nice bits, but the north is full of schemes.
