buying clothes off ebay

I've got some eBay armanis, they've got all the right labels, inside and out and are quite good quality but I think theyre fake because there is no writing on the rivets.

Put it this way, if someone is close enough to tell whether they are fake or not, it's because they're a lovely lady removing them for you or something nasty involving another man is about to happen.

I once made the mistake of buying jeans on ebay. I'm pretty sure they're all fakes.

They look noticeably worse and the material is a lot worse.

These Paul Smith jeans that I'm wearing aren't that pricey at £100 but the material is sublime. Really soft, lovely to wear.

The fake jeans I bought were made out of crap. It was like cardboard - stiff and horrible.

Buy for comfort and don't buy fakes.

i know someone who bought jeans off ebay and they got ripped off, as they're definitely fake in my opinion.

I'm sure there are genuine savings to be had on jeans out there, but if it looks to be too good to be true it most likely is.

What's wrong with Tesco's jeans? I mean ok! going out with a £150 jeans and expensive Paul Smith shirts is ok but bumming around in expensive clothes is pointless imo.

As with buying for eBay, if the items are fake just report the seller to eBay and I'm very sure they will deal with it.

Price and convenience? The ability to try out items at your leisure rather than in a rush in a shop?

I would have thought that being able to try them *before* you buy them would make things more convient?

Tesco jeans are fine but I had a pair of Hugo Boss jeans that I got in America for $180 and I only chucked them out last week, got a good 2 years out of them and i wore them every week.

Why would you buy clothes online?

GO OUTSIDE - THE REAL WORLD IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF.

The price, High Street shopping is expensive, you could go and try the jeans on then by them off the internet, its just like buying the jeans straight from the warehouse and bypassing the shop and its dear retail mark ups.

How is travelling into town, doing battle with traffic, paying extortionate parking fees then walking round shops, more convenient than clicking a mouse?

Each to their own, to be honest.

Personally. i'd prefer to dress myself in a manner that isnt reminiscent of yer mom buying your clothes from the Littlewoods catalogue.....

You aren't trying them on by clicking a mouse.

True, but if you know your size then nine times out of 10, you don't need to send something back. Even if you do, it's still more convenient than high street shopping IMO. I haven't shopped in town for years, for anything - there's no need. I hate going into the town centre.
