Last night in Calgary with my girlfriend tonight....flying home to England Sunday evening after 15 days.

Very sad right now, going to miss her like crazy :(

Had some great times though...the Rockies are beautiful and HDTV is fantastic.

If anyone sees a British dude crying at Calgary airport, c'est moi.

I'm such a jessie....fourth time flying home from seeing her now and the crying's getting worse. Man-hug time.

Go do something manly like get an oversized axe and chop down a large tree! You need it to save you from impending girlishness!

Seriously though, just look at it this way - you're going to appreciate seeing each other a hell of a lot more. Next time will be even better for you :)

I don't know what I'd find more upsetting, leaving th eloved one or the prospect of havign to return to the UK :D

If I could emmigrate anywhere, I'd pick Canada

Instead of a manly hug can I give you abuse? :p

Leaving is always the toughest thing to do.. but at least you have seeing each other to look forward to! :)

:( it does indeed suck to say goodbye to a loved one.
Just keep counting towards the next time you see her :)

Ahh Calgary eh??, nice city and nice scenery and dont worry dude i know how u feel. As i get quite emotional when i leave my gf in nyc, but luckily im not the sort to break down in tears whereas she does and makes a scene...not to mention getting my shirt all wet with her tears:(:p

Can I join in? Grumble, grumble. :p

I don't blame you though, not one bit. The thought of having to finish a vacation and come back to Blighty is enough to make anyone end up in tears. Having to leave the girlfriend behind as well doubles the effect.

Still, just remember that there will be a next time, and you have that to look forward to.

Same here, its an amazing country,
Ive only been to Toronto and the surrounding area but that was great, Id love to go to Vancouver and the Rockies
All the Canadians ive met were really friendly and nice, I must find the oppertunity to go back there soon

Leaving great people and places is always hard, I hope that you can cope being back here in drab England, we have much better longer/more interesting history though :)
