Bye bye Prelude!

how well does the auto go with the 2.5 turbo engine? :)

They work in parallel and are lethal if you accidentally go into kickdown :D

The rear tyres are useless despite being P6000s as they're spinning in every gear :|

could go you into more detail, a like a road test. wouldnt mind one of these but unsure about the auto :)

I'm still getting used to it, it's really not all that bad really. Automatics in small engine cars are horrible but it really suits this one. Because the turbos spool up in parallel theres an enormous surge in power and if you combine that with accidentally pressing the pedal enough to go into kickdown the back end goes out HARD. It drives very much like a 4 seater Supra to be honest.

It's by far the most powerful car i've ever driven and I suspect 280 bhp is actually a bit conservative as I think it's rated at that power to satisfy that weird Jap regulation where a lot of cars are rated at 280 ps.

It has electronic suspension which stiffens up as you go round a corner so there is little or no body roll. My one doesn't have an LSD which is a shame, but there are a few out there with them. There is also a 4.0 V8 version which is not as powerful but meant to be one of the best / most reliable engines ever made. I'm going to get mine serviced this week, will try and do a proper review after that :D

Parts are basically identical to Supra bits so it's not hard to source service items.

Well if you're driving civilised (which is easy in an auto) I suspect it's close to 30mpg. On boost though it's quite bad, probably low 10s.

Yep, N/A twin rotor so about 150 bhp. Nice fun little car but a bit gutless at low revs and it had a serious petrol consumption problem :D

I haven't driven it enough to be sure but my problem with the Rx was that it would just drink petrol no matter what speed I was doing. I think this'll be better if i'm just cruising at 70 but if i'm tonking it probably worse :D
