Game is installed! But I have no idea what to put all the settings as :(

And when I go to practice my car only goes up to 1st gear even on automatic gearbox :( I have no idea what im doing.

Also why can't I select qualifying? And there seem to be very few cars and tracks compared to what i've seen?

Started playing around with the Ariel Atom 300 today on Hockingheim, the default steering ratio was way to much so turned that down quite a lot, default setup makes the car really twitchy.

 
without sifting through dozens hundreds of pgs can anyone or does anyone have a guide for what does what in car setups ?

currently doing the belgium forst track in formula car and want to know what will be good to change to make it slightly better.

any tips guides about . cheers
 
just wondered if anyone had any guides to what does what . what can cut times what is placebo. the simple fact is the site for this great game is a mess .

numerous things ive tried searching for on there website have yielded no answers to questions i wanted answered. needs to be simple easy .

bit of a cluster of info on there with no real structure.

reaper have a world ;) i know you in at the moment :p
 
generaly stiffer front = understeer, stiffer rear = oversteer
softer does the opposite
in order i adjust
anti roll bars
springs
shocks (small adjustment)


tire pressures, assuming they are roughly around the psi they should be, higher will take grip away, lower will give grip. higher pressure will make the tyre more stable though, but its probably not a major factor for most cars.

best change todo is to put some - toe on the front, maybe rear. really helps stabilize the car a ton, really reduces its tendancy to steer itself and tramline etc
 
If you click the information icon in-game and go through a couple pages, it tells you exactly what to change for each behaviour on the road.

There's a lot too.

whart settings? graphics, AI, car, etc?

try turning auto pit off, its very broken right now

you cant select qualifying because it hasnt been put in yet

Ah thanks for that I will try turning auto pit off :p And it is mainly the AI and car tuning settings I am having trouble with...

Is there any date on when qualifying will be put in the game?

Oh and is there a list of cars + tracks in the game atm?
 
Off the top of my head the cars are as follows :-

  • Formula A/B
  • F68/77/86
  • GUMPERT Apollo S
  • Kart
  • Caterham R500
  • Ariel Atom V8/Mugen/supercharged
  • Superkart 250cc
  • Asano LM11TDX/4X Touring
  • Racer L4/V8

Tracks you find easily enough when picking them, click on the name and it should come up with a menu of all the tracks.

I only use anti-lock brakes so haven't noticed.

I did manage to get 208MPH in the Formula A. Man that was some hard braking. :p

Yeah 78 is as high as I can go, really annoying! How the hell are you supposed to race!? :confused:
 
Unfortunately you should probably just turn off stability and traction control for now until they rectify the situation.
