C&C demo now on MP!!!

cant believe no one has it yet, im at 85%. Looks like live is taking a hammering. To jumpurs about the fact you pay for live I was under the impression demos were aviable to silver who dont pay so its the online gaming you pay for not the downloads ?

I've just played through the boot camp. I was expecting the controls to be crap - IMO they aren't easy to instantly pick up but Im finding it pretty fine :)

just started downloading again, 53%, cant wait :p
Does it look good compare to PC version?

Not sure, Havent tried the pc version. I can tell though that the 360 is capable of much more lol, there are no slow downs what so ever.

Oh & I dont know how to quote twice either

did the boot camp training and a single player lvl, and just got my arse handed to me on a MP game, pretty good game, suprisingly easy to play with pretty good controls, nice graphics as well, although it does suffer from some slowdown once you get a few units going, but it certainly doesnt make it un playable or anything, overall i like it :)

Man people just quit on me when I hit them with missile guys, must be scared or something lol

Game seems cool though... controls are hard but easy after a bit!

Graphics seem pretty crap compared to the pc version, ground looks all low res and blurry as does the tiberium and the buildings. Gonna assume they dropped the hi-res textures to make for a smaller dload size.

ahhh just played my first proper game, victorious of course! :D

I really enjoy a good long battle, but the vast majority of people attack straight away.

Played the training missions and the 2 GDI missions, aww brought back all nostalgic memories. Like it, found the controls pretty straightforward. One to buy once I finish off all the others I already have.

If they attack straight away they will have had to travel across the map so you will be in a much stronger position to defend the attack. RTS games are about constant harassment and out macroing your opponent, not building up a big army to smash against someone elses army.

The game looks like crap but plays suprisingly well. I'll get this on the 360 over the PC version :)

Fantastic demo, everything I hoped it was and a little extra. Ion cannon looked fantastic and the controls were pretty cool, nothing to complicated, although I did keep changing my grouped units number constantly, instead of selecting them.

I think, as sad as it sounds I'll just play that second campaign mission through, its pretty cool... just the challenge.. had my arse handed back to me on a plate on multiplayer, although I might just dable there again later if i'm feeling brave enough...

*Edit* Download took for me from 1530 till 2200 - kept freezing, so I just cancelling it and just restarted and it updated..
