Hi.

I was wondering if its possible to extend or expand C drive to my empty D drive ?

Both hard drive are the exact same two, OCZ agilty 3 120GB.

I'v read a few posts on the net and it's not as simple as I first thought.

I'v read that you can do it with RAID 0 ? But then read you can only do it with certain versions of windows ??

Any help will.....help

=)

Thanks

You can install future games/programs to your d drive if you click custom during installation,music/films/photos van be dragged to the d drive amd deleted off the c drive

Try using SteamMover, it will create symbolic links for you so that Windows will be directed to wherever you move the data to, while thinking it is still on the C: drive. You could perhaps move Steam or games folders to the D: drive to clear up space on C:.

thanks for the quick responses and suggestions.

That is something I will end up doing.

So its not worth the effort trying to expand C drive onto another psychical drive ?

Can raid be applied to this at all ?

Not really. Id move the pagefile for starters as that is bound to be a couple of gb, run ccleaner also. You might not need to worry in the end.

Iv moved a few large folders across which has done the trick :) Why i didn't think of this in the first place =/

But anyways, Cheers guys!
