I laughed more than i should at that.Yeah I would imagine cabbage soup could do that. Being scared and full of cabbage could end in disaster. You may never trust a fart again...

Seriously fed up with this now. I'm not even that fat, I weight 96kg and I'm 6ft tall so only slightly chubby
Not sure if you're joking here, but 96Kg at 6 foot is obese. Keep chowing that cabbage.

I hate to break it to you, but you are both obese. http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/tools/bmi_calculator/bmi.shtmlI'm 110kg and exactly 6ft, but I don't feel like I'm obese, just overweight. I have friends who are lighter than me who look fatter. (not my own observation) I also have a friend who weighs 130KG and is 6ft 4 but he is broad across the shoulders and has a massive beard and it just looks normal on him.
I only eat around 800-1000 calories a day, but never drop under 9 stone. You're more likely to hold onto weight if you eat too few calories, which, I imagine, this diet is a good example of. As others have said, do something more maintainable, better suited for the long run. You're more likely to stick to it then.

I’m happy to maintain. Just stating that I don’t need to eat anywhere near the recommended 2000 a day to maintain weight. What weight are you aiming for?!
I don't thing I could function on that .
I think my breakfast and snack is usually around your lower cal count for the day
I'm sure it's not perfect, but it's a darn sight better than someone saying "but I don't feel fat" as per the above poster.BMI doesn't take into account Body shape or composition, muscle mass, bone density, sex and a number of other things.
I'm on the dust diet, can eat as much as you want(so long as its dust), dust is very very low calorie. Its win win.
same - my breakfast and morning snack account for 1000 calories at least!
