Cabbage soup diet - FML

You're more likely to hold onto weight if you eat too few calories, which, I imagine, this diet is a good example of. As others have said, do something more maintainable, better suited for the long run. You're more likely to stick to it then.

Calorie deficit is what you need, Not fad diets like slim fast, Skinny coffee, Herbalife etc.
To be able to stick to it, You need to find something nutritious that you enjoy and don't mind eating.
BMI is a totally unreliable measurement.

Also remember, What works for someone may not work well for you!

I'm 110kg and exactly 6ft, but I don't feel like I'm obese, just overweight. I have friends who are lighter than me who look fatter. (not my own observation) I also have a friend who weighs 130KG and is 6ft 4 but he is broad across the shoulders and has a massive beard and it just looks normal on him. :D

I hate to break it to you, but you are both obese. http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/tools/bmi_calculator/bmi.shtml

Society has totally normalised fatness and you're a product of that. No offence, obviously.
