Linkies arnt working. :( Please get them working ;)

I really want to see how neat your case is. :D
Sure Ben won't mind me posting this for him! This is it minus the PSU area.

It's a very neat job TBH! :)

Ah thanks gt_junkie, very neat and tidy. One question, i have seen quite a few cases on their side, any reason for this? :)
No probs stickroad,

Do you mean the orientation of the mobo being upside down? If that's it then it's simply the way some cases are laid out. I prefer this orientation personally but i suppose it's ultimately down to personal taste and/or the choice of case.

Here's mine... inspired by, but certainly not bettering, Ben's own efforts! ;) :D

Any chance you could post some pics of your card, is it a GTS or GTX?, I need to check if it fits my mobo, cold you post a pic of the bottom of it, the end where the power connectors are.. as my mobo has a capacitor that might be in the way...

It's a GTX meansizzler.

Will post pics when i can - camera needs charging! :p

What mobo you planning on using with the card?

Right. One extra long SATA cable and a fan extension cable, plus a few cable ties and hey presto - one case, slightly neater. Very tricky to do. There are only certain places behind the case (i.e. the side panel opposite to the front) where the cables can be routed, without being in the way of the side panel. At one point I had the exhaust fan cable mangled in the locking mechanism

In the following pic:

http://www.jpw.me.uk/pcbuild/DSCF0325.JPG

You can see the wires before I went in with the cable ties. The extension cable you can see at the top - it extends the exhaust fan cable so I can wrap it around the back of the motherboard tray. I had to use one cable tie to fasten the cable to the case (it loops in and out two case holes), to prevent the wire fouling the locking mechanism. The cables for the front connectors I wanted to route behind the motherboard tray, but there was no gap at the bottom - would have needed to saw a piece out of the case. So I've just tied them together in a bundle. The grey cable you see going to nowhere is an un-used front connector cable - I've looped that into a bundle and tied it to the drive tower. The two SATA power cables I wanted to route to the far right edge of the case, but again, this meant they were in the way of the side panel. However, there was just enough room to fit them into the cable holder for the front connector cables - the one just next to the bottom-left corner of the drive tower. Finally, I changed the routing of the DVD SATA cable - in the first pic, it was still in the way and looked messy, so I routed it back under the drive and out the side of the drive tower. Looks much better.

I think it's about the best I can do, and does look much neater than the original layout :)

[edit] Idle temps are 27-29 deg C - about 1-2 degrees cooler than before :D

My case after the initial build, just to check that everything works:

After a bit of a tidy-up:

With watercooling installed:

1 metre SATA cables help a lot, much easier to hide them out of the way. Could be neater, but since I don't have a window that might be going a bit too far...

Specs:
Asus P5B-E Plus
E6400 (with D-TEK FuZion block)
2GB GeIL PC6400 Ultra Low Latency
7800GT (with Zalman VF900)
Swiftech MCW-30 chipset block
Swiftech Micro-Res
Swiftech MCR-120 Radiator
Swiftech MCP-350 with Petra'sTech top
Lian Li PC101

I'm hoping to fit an EX33B drive bay at some point (if I can find one in this country!), so I will probably have to relocate the res.

I also need to get a proper camera!

Sorry for the incredily poor picture (shaky hands!)

Not much, athlon 64 3500, 1gb ram, 7600gs, 1 seagate barracuda 80gb, WD raptor 80gb, 250gb WD 2500ks (the first two are suspended in the DVD cage).

No intake fan as I haven't been bothered to put one in (don't really need it! ~30c idle). Exhaust is a 120mm xilence at 7v, it's on a 80-120 adapter at the back.

bit messy but i know for a fact there is no where to hide anything in that bloody case :p

I have found that out on the numerous times i've tried to move the cables, but the case does look good.
Looking at those pics they are a bit old so I have just uploaded a couple of new 1's, with a slight cabling change, thou not a great change

and now i have the gigabyte 3D aurora in silver :/ and thermaltake armour LCS in black :D

heres the 3D aurora;

changed a bit since this pic (passive freezer 64, small cable tidy, all 3 fans now blue LED etc), and sorry about the desk leg...desk has also changed since this pic, will get one of my water cooled armor once i get back of holiday :)

lol, i find the opposite...as i end up letting the dust build up on silver cases...whereas on black i tend to clean it more often :D
