Cadbury's Roses

Ferrero Rocher are clearly top tier.

I hate Ferrero Rocher. With me it's not so much "Ambassador, with these Ferrero Rocher you are really spoiling us!", and more like "Ambassasdor, you can stick these Ferrero Rochers up your ****, which I am sure you will enjoy anyway. Goodnight!"

Why are you buying those tubs of overpriced ****...

I haven't.

It's somewhat of a family tradition in our family for the grandparents to buy a sweet tub for the grandkids on the run up to Christmas. My mother bought the Roses for my kids as part of that tradition

I think the kids of today are very short changed

And the tubs are even smaller now !

Weirdly though the general size of people now compared to then is probably the opposite....

Maybe we should all go on a Roses diet.

Lyndt chocolate is the only one I can eat these days

Is that "fancy" Swiss chocolate from Temu? :p

I'm not happy with Lindt tbh, I ordered 4 advent calendars from them (one each for the kids, one for the other half, one for me), they only sent 3, so guess who has to go without...

One of the kids, of course.

Sadly no...

Timing of this thread is quite fortuitous actually, neighbours popped round a tub of roses earlier, and one of the kids won a box of quality street at the school Christmas fayre, so have both sat in front of us just now.

They're definitely both a lot worse than I remember, and they were never that great to start with!

Related but why can't you buy the Celebrarions Maltesers as a standalone.
My favourite in Celebrations was the Galaxy truffle but they stopped it a few years ago, second dsv is the Malteser, also used to love the coffee in the Roses/Quality Street till the buggers pulled them too.
