Cadbury's Wispa

Ok, how does this sound?

Thank you for getting back to me Charlie, I really appreciate it.

I would love to try the Cadbury's Dairy Milk Bubbly, but upon speaking to some of my friends about potentially doing so, I was informed that they weren't in the same league as the Wispa. Even so, I would still be inclined to try one but to a lesser extent. I was wondering if you had a policy of some kind of money off coupon/free sample, for a long time/loyal customer of your chocolate? If not, not to worry, it would just be very nice if you did.

Thanks for the response, look forward to hearing from you again

Dairy Milk with bubbles is completely inferior to Wispa, which was my single favourite chocolate bar ever. But now it's gone :(

On a related note, anyone remember Vanilla Coke? I loved that stuff!

Send it, you have nothing to lose :D

Wispa was potentially the greatest chocolate bar I've ever tasted.

I also miss Cheese & Ham flavoured Mini Cheddars. R.I.P

Ah - a lunchbox mainstay. Do they still do the marmite ones? They were more manly.

I used to be mad for Wispas. After each bite I'd check out to see if I'd dissected any huge bubbles so it was like a game as well as a sweet, my mates and I would have competitions on a Saturday. Remember when they took out Wispa Gold? The ruined a perfectly good chocolate bar by putting a streak of caramel up it's back, it all went wrong after that and they disappeared. God I miss Wispas.

Those winter nights must have flown by...

I used to love them, so so much. I still do, just can't find them anywhere. Every Christmas my stocking would have a selection of my favourite chocolate, including MANY Whispa bars!

Much along the same lines as Naffa

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am enquiring about the Cadbury's product, Wispa. After returning from an African Safari, which I have been on for three years (and it was very enjoyable thank you) I have discovered that the Wispa product is no longer available for sale.

After brief discussion with my friends (Cadburys and Wispa fans alike) I was rather upset to see that the product has not only been removed from production, but also that an inferior product (in the Cadbury's Dairy Milk with Bubbles) has been its so-called replacement.

As the Wispa chocolate bar was my favourite Cadbury's product and weekly treat of a well-balanced diet - I ask, do Cadbury have any intention of bringing the product back to life on our shelves? Or at least changing the content of the Cadbury's Dairy Milk with Bubbles, so that is at least on the same playing field and quality to that of a Wispa.

I enjoyed the individual wrappers and branding of your chocolate bars - now most things seem to be very generic, boring and I waste an extra 2-3 minutes on average in the shop looking for a specific type of your product. This is particularly true of the Dairy Milk range, which can cause me a great deal of concern - and I have sometimes lifted an Aero by accident - a rival product.

I hope that Cadbury can come to its senses and realize that people love the individuality of their products - and that abolishing (what was) a great chocolate bar (in the Wispa) without public consent or feedback prior to doing so, is not the way forward for the chocolate company and the chocolate enjoyer and consumer.

Yours faithfully, Paul.

The real shame (grammatical and spelling issues aside) is that this will probably get treated as a complaint without any sort of doubt at all.

I want a Wispa dammit.

When I was at school, long time ago, we got the ice cream man outside the gate to freeze the Wispa bars before we all rushed out on mass in a comical rugby scrum to see who buy them first.

Frozen Wispa bars. Up there with Caviar.
Sorry to sound strange, but there wasn't a boy called Matt in your scrum was there?

If we can keep bombarding them I reckon they'll give in and change the multi-million pound marketing campaign that is 'Cadbury's Dairy Milk with'.

On second thoughts. :(

I just can't see the logic of doing what they did. Obviously it's more profitable.. Well is it? My business knowledge isn't too good as of late. But everyone I know preferred having the more individual and unique chocolate bar. Especially when turning them into a single generic bar meant loss of quality.. And a poorer taste... :(

We NEED to get Wispas back on the shelves!

Its the same with everything really sweet and sickly though, you've got to eat them cold.

Pop a wispa gold in the fridge, gorgeous...
Quoted for the absolute, 100% truth.. I wish Wispas were still around :(

Every Sunday I used to walk down to the paper shop, buy a copy of the Times and a Wispa. Pop it in the freezer and thirty minutes later I would be sat with a cup of tea, Wispa in one hand and the Times spread across the table.. aah, great days :(

I was telling my gf how I hadn't seen this around for years to which she replied. "Me and my mam got one two weeks ago from a shop round the corner from the empire"
